RIP Winamp
« on: December 30, 2013, 04:25:01 AM »

I know, I was just as surprised. The only thing left is Winamp for MAC sync...

Old winamp is gone. Which I still use with a virtual machine of Win 8.1 on my MAC. That's the one thing that MAC cannot do right in my eyes, is proper music playing software...Itunes is horrid.

Anyhow, first release was April of 97...which would make it a couple of months older than my oldest son...LOL

I still use Media Monkey, I just recently made a backup of the 6 digit tunes onto a new hard drive, (using Win 8.1, it gave me no problems at all, kinda nice, I just copied and pasted one drive to another and it was done in 8 hours), and I'm currently (slowly) deleting any and everything on the old drive that I do not listen to. First things to go.. Country and Rap, that was 100+ gigs. My Lifetime Serial I bought for MM way back in the day still works with every MM upgrade :)   I think it was 2002 when I bought that, for like $20.
